Long Live Life

So far I've been as good at doing this blog thing as I am at keeping a diary! It's not like I haven't done anything either, but perhaps it's because I've had a fair bit of disruption in my life of late. That however isn't something I feel I need to blog about.

Anyway what have I done? Well on the 19th of September I went to see a little band called Coldplay!



They were amazing! Seriously! I'm twenty-four now and until this year I had never seen a band live (apart from a Queen tribute band, but I don't really think that counts). In the last year I've seen two; Keane and Coldplay. I guess I should really add White Lies, Girls Aloud, Jay-Z, Katzenjammer and FrankMusic to that list too as they were warm ups for each act.

Anyway the show put on by Coldplay was even more wonderful than seeing Keane in February. I've heard people give Keane a lot of crap (when they've actually heard of them), but they mean a lot to me because their music spoke to me at a time when I needed something to hang on to. So seeing them and hearing all the songs that meant so much to me was just awe inspiring.



But Coldplay...

It was such an experience and one that I would absolutely repeat! The songs, so memorable and meaningful where even better live. If you even just like them and get the chance to see them then do!
